Hi Instagram! I created to help spread awareness for Neurological diseases in cats & dogs. When Jagger was diagnosed with it was one of the most difficult times, but God chose me to be this baby’s momma because he knew I could handle it. We are making so much AMAZING progress.
We share stories of animal owners that have pets with rare diseases. I’ve met so many amazing fur parents, and their determination to never give up hope is humbling.

Jagger Update:
Had a check up with Jagger yesterday and we are going from 5mg of Pred every day to every OTHER day, which is huge for cutting it in half! She is still on a chemo treatment 5 days a week as week.
Almost 8 months and we are weening her off..
Slow & steady wins the race 💪🏼
So proud of this girl.

HI ALL! Welcome to Jags Deal! This page is dedicated to help spread awareness for rare diseases in dogs and cats 🐱 🐶

If you’re wondering, it all started when Jagger was diagnosed with Autoimmune Meningitis is January of 2021. Jagger is a year and a half old lab/pointer who got this unfortunate disease just at a year of age.

My goal through this page is spread awareness for all types of rare diseases in animals, including neurological diseases such as SRMA.

Through our Instagram page we have connected with a community of pet owners who are going through similar experiences. Our fur babies can’t speak, so we have to speak for them!

We want to share stories and information and we need your help. Sharing symptoms and recover with other pet owners in this nature, helped SO much. When Jagger lost the ability to walk, we were in shock. It took numerous visits to the vets office to FINALLY get referred to a neurologist. Thankfully he walking ability came back but it will never be normal (I don’t think she notices though!)

There’s simply not enough information out there for professionals to diagnose these rare diseases quickly.. and that’s the issue. Once things like this happen, time is of the essence.
