Hi friends and fans of Pig Alley Attic Trunk & Peddler Mart. As I posted last week, there is a plant thief in Etna. In my rant/post about this individual I told her/him that replacing my pottery pot with a plastic one did not make us square. Soooo...the thief took this to heart, got pi**ed, I guess, and came back to steal the green plastic pot...too. So now we have double jeopardy...and I have no plant or pot. However, my tenant's plant WAS returned...weird...if you're going to return it why steal it ? People are baffling...as i told my tenant, give me a dog any day over many people. So when I go plant pot shopping next, I shall attempt to find another orange pottery or ceramic one,to match the poppies on my building. And buy another pink geranium plus more blue and purple bottles for the bottle tree. The evil spirits stolen along with the bottles will have a field day at their new home. As you read this, thief that you are....when negativity begins to fill your days...you can thank those blue bottles. It's AKA karma...

This is #3 post attempt...A THIEF LIVES IN ETNA...someone has stolen my orange Mexican hand painted flower pot with a blooming geranium off the porch of CREATIVE SPACE. This happened last weekend. THEY ALSO STOLE the cobalt blue bottles and a purple bottle from the bottle tree planted in front. Bottles on a bottle tree are there to capture evil spirits and protect a home or shop from bad events and occurrences. Now, YOU the thief, have taken those evil spirits with you to YOUR home.where they will be unleashed to wreak havoc in your life.

It is shameful that YOU felt compelled to deprive me of my items but more importantly, YOU have also chosen to deprive the community of Etna of beauty and a pleasing eye catching business facade. I am so disappointed in YOU..AND SHOCKED.

I have mentioned the THEFT to the police because I love Etna and think highly of the people who live here...most of them anyway and want our local law enforcement to be aware that there are THIEVES among us. YOU are not on the "honest, respectable people in Etna", list. ...Please do not plan to shop in my store as you are not welcome.

PS the cheap green plastic pot you left to replace my cute orange pottery pot was supposed to make the THEFT okay?? WELL...IT DID NOT. Your redemption only lies in a return of everything you STOLE and in the same condition it was in when you STOLE it.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE! I'm sorry to report that due to a loss of heat at ATTIC TRUNK,( its only 42' inside), the shop will be CLOSED this week.

With all the inches of snow we got I'll bet more folks will be staying at home in their nests rather than venturing out on the roads. Cuddling with blankets around the wood stove or fireplace, and sipping on a cup of something hot makes for a perfect winter day.

Your plans to head out for far away places may have changed but isn't our snow wonderful? Water for our parched fields and mountains.and a lovely sight to see.

That wind last night was amazing...my dogs have beds on a covered porch and that fierce blowing wind 'covered' their blankets, stuffed beds and everything else with SNOW.and there was no available warmth left for my pooches. I brought all bedding inside this morning to dry out in the shower and the tub. Probably will need to pull out some old blankets, etc. to replace the soppy wet ones. My biggest dog,Tuffy, a 2 year old white collie, loves to be outside in the white stuff, running full speed with snow flurries flying behind him. He especially loves chasing birds! .
