Alright - today is the day it begins. All hats are discounted to $12 each!
Each product is updated with what styles and quantity I have available in that fabric print. I will not be making more of any of the fabric options listed - what you see is what's already made and available now. Shipping is still the standard $5 however if you purchase 5 hats, you will get $10 off.
Forgive me for not texting or messaging those that asked me to reach out to them when this sale is taking place. I'm hopeful that your Facebook feed will pick this up.

Working in the OR requires several different personalities. It's hard to tell what you're getting into when all you see are the silly paper hats. Why not put your flair in the OR with fun, fabric hats!

Hey there! Some of you have asked if I'm still making hats. The answer is yes, but not as often. Although it still gives me a small thrill when I see one of my hats "out in the wild" as I do Inventory for Stryker Midwest Orthopedics, I find myself wanting to spend time in my craft room on other projects and interests.
Soon I will be liquidating inventory and shutting the website down. Keep an eye out - I will post here when prices have been updated (read - discounted!) I will only take orders through there until July 8th and very limited orders through this page (especially after an odd run in with what I believe was a scam).
I truly appreciate everyone that has supported me and my small little side hustle over the years! As I made each hat (has to be in the thousands by now), I thought of the commitment everyone that's wearing it makes to help others. You all have a special place in my heart.

Wrapping up this project for Nicole! I want to acknowledge a few people:
Nikki Ingram thank you for helping me cut fabric when a shoulder injury had put a bump in things (3 1/2 hrs this girl was a cutting machine - hope the wrist feels better)

Nicole - a 30yr old Lead Rad Tech at KU Main - has been a part of the team for almost 8 years. Her coworkers call her bad ass, the docs call her "lighting" because she swoops in, takes the shot, and leaves just as fast. She is loved by many and faces a daunting challenge. Recently Nicole was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and now needs to focus that lightning energy on beating this disease. With all the events planned for the next several weeks I have decided to take a little break from the hats for a bit. Any orders placed today through June 9th will have a severe lag time (probably won't get to them until after June 10th). Going through a transition phase right now and I don't want to disappoint you with an extremely long wait for your hat. The website will still be up and running and feel free to place orders, just no new fabric or hats will be produced during this break. Thanks for your understanding. See you on the flip side!

‼️ lengthy post alert ‼️
The hat on the left is one version I’ve worn, in some model or another, for the past 14 years (reference picture on the right during the height of COVID when we had to wear N95s under it). On April 17th I will be hanging that hat up, possibly for good. But fear not my followers and fans of the page - Handley’s Scrub Hats will still be in production. The only major change will be that I will no longer provide free delivery to Menorah/MASI or to Olathe Med folks (thanks to my hat mule Kevin). My shipping rate is $5 which still, compared to the big guys, is cheaper than most if not all. Things will be a little quiet on the new fabric front as I go through my work transition as well as graduation for my last baby. Don’t worry - I can’t stay away from fabric too long.
