First off I want to thank everyone in the community who supported the shop. It has been a great ride. I started this shop from nothing and all for the love of skateboarding. I didn’t care about the money or carrying the latest big name shoe drop. I wanted to build up a community, support skater owned and local brands.

About a year ago my life drastically changed and including my financial situation. The shop just became not feasible for me anymore.

I am very excited to announce that Eugene will still have a local, independent and skater owned shop. It will be in the same location under a different name and ownership.

Ryan and Alexa will take over the beginning of March under the name . They are locals who are passionate about skateboarding and roller skating. The shop and the community will be in great hands. Some things will change and some will remain the same. You can expect to still see the great national and local skate brands but also see roller skate brands as well.

I am thrilled that what I built will continue in great hands. Please give their page a follow and give them your support. We need to support local businesses, especially in the skate world. The culture and community depends on it.

Almonte will live on. I will be transitioning the name to a board brand. In the the near future be on the lookout for Almonte decks and clothing in local skate shops and skatepark pop ups around the area.

New shop shirts just arrived. Bittersweet though because this will be the last shirt ever. It pains me to say that Almonte will be closing soon. I don’t have an exact time table yet. Thank you to everyone that has supported the shop! I love skateboarding but it has changed a lot and being an independent shop in a corporate world is tough. So come on down and grab one of these soon to be collector items!!

Thanks to everyone who donated to repairs. We are going to put the names of the donors in a raffle and the fine folks over is going to give away this deck! Again, thank you so@much everyone!

We are still sorting out getting the repairs needed and the costs of the products replace along with time we had to shut down. We are working with the insurance company but it’s still going to be very expensive. Any little bit helps. Thank you!

A huge shoutout to the fine folks at for coming down and donating some gear to replace what was stolen. I’ve been involved in skateboarding since 1991 and the community around it is why I love it. 💚💚
