Integrity, what does it really mean? It’s not about being nice guys and coming off political correct. ✌🏾 It’s about actually doing the right thing, even when no one is watching, even when it’s doesn’t reap the biggest financial return! 💫 We, in the ‘conscious’ fashion world, have been a buzz lately about the sale of organic fashion brand “Everlane” to SHEIN (probably the #1 offender in fast fashion scandals)!!! 🤪 I’m not completely shocked, just because a brand is eco fashion, doesn’t necessarily mean they share all our values… I don’t know who owned Everlane, how the brand was started, who’s labor produced the goods, or anything else other than they used organic cotton.. 💁🏽‍♀️ There is a difference between small business and SMALL business. Not trying to talk 💩 just saying, I really love shopping from brands where you can see a face behind it, who’s making it, and know where your money is actually going. Anyhoo.. just a reminder that some brands truly do have integrity, and would never claim one thing while doing the opposite. 🤷🏽‍♀️ Some companies are truly committed to making a better world, safe work places and green spaces. So happy shopping, remember to think twice, spending money is truly the most powerful tool in creating the world you want to live in! So thank you, for every time you choose us! And other small brands like us! 🙌🏾 Our whole team is human. We have kids and bills and aging parents, and all the normal things. We want to see a better, kinder, greener future for the next generations! 🌱 We’re committed to always choosing the most ethical, most loving and most sustainable choices as possible. One of my all time favorite, most versatile mama wardrobe pieces, our h**p Wrap Skirt! It’s a classic half circle pattern, made of luxurious woven h**p or woven h**p & organic cotton 🍃 It a one size piece, because it takes up the entire width of the fabric, but depending how it fits you, you can wear it any number of ways ~ as a Skirt ~ as a Dress ~ as a blanket ~ or even as a nursing coverup 💫 This style was inspired by my own mama. When I was a little girl she had a hippie printed Wrap Skirt that I used to wear as a dress. When I became a teenage I was embarrassed and scolded my mom from letting me go out like that. 😅 And now, as I full grown woman, I’ve absolutely lived in one, through many pregnancies and in between! What a wonderful timeless creation! If you don’t have one yet, you really should! We only make them in small batches, but I believe we do have a few on the website now..
