Hiring - Optician needed- OD Tech+Optician/Sales- Vision Associate
On the job training, experience a plus, but not required.
This individual must be able to work independently and accurately.
This position has some similarities to a Dr. Assistant position:
i.e. customer interaction, insurance verification, patient records, etc. frame styling, repairs/adjustments, lens sales, understanding lens designs and options, placing frame and lens orders, trouble-shooting patient problems with glasses, submitting vision care plan claims, inventory management, answering phones, general maintenance and cleaning of optical area, keep optical area organized at all times.
Job duties of Optician is responsible for including but not limited to scheduling appointments, verifying insurance coverage, maintaining accurate patient records, and assisting with preliminary testing under the Optometrist’s supervision, educate patients on lens insertion and removal and overall care of contact lenses.
Ideal candidate will be able to effectively sell and meet or exceed all sales goals.
Must have a professional appearance with good communication skills.
We offer very competitive pay as well as Health Insurance/Benefits. $12.50/hr
Experience a plus but not necessary. We will train.
