Just a public service post. Some years back my sister messaged me saying my grandfather's World War 2 uniforms were being sold on eBay...and by the time I got to the post, they had sold. I messaged the seller, asking for info about how he acquired them but never heard back. The sale included all his military papers, discharge, etc etc...

Posting as a Hail Mary, but this painting of my grandmother was accidentally donated to the Salvation Army Rt. 1 Saugus, MA approximately 8 weeks ago. It has strong sentimental value! If anyone is aware of its whereabouts, I WILL BUY IT BACK!
Background: This painting was commissioned by my grandfather when he was serving as a WWII Naval Officer in Sorrento, Italy. The painting was done by a local artist based on a picture which he carried in his wallet.
