It’s a finish!

It’s transition time and for the past few weeks I’ve been trying to balance sewing and knitting. There are a couple of self-drafted tops that I’ll post soon but I wanted you see this finish of a Cleo Skirt from It was fun and pretty quick to put together and I’ll definitely make one or two more with variations.

Our new Summer Breeze Kona yarn dyes, like this one called Camellia, paired with one of our shot cottons, make an outstanding pairing for this summer’s sewing projects. We love yarn dyes for garments so stop in to see our entire selection and get a start on your own summer makes.

It’s time..to make your spring wardrobe!

We are opening up our new Saturday Independent Project 3pm section to knitters and crocheters, as well as sewists. It’s not too late to sign up! Our earlier combo section is SOLD OUT as is the Sunday Learn to Sew class. It’s definitely the season for making!

Independent Project classes allow you to work on your own project at your own pace so there’s no homework or pressure to meet benchmarks. Up to two beginner knitters/crocheters can join a class (sewists can join after taking a beginner sewing class).
