QUILTER'S TIP OF THE DAY: For more perfect triangle squares, press the sewn triangles open before cutting them apart. This will help to prevent the triangles from stretching and it also stabilizes the bias edges. Happy quilting!

QUILTER'S TIP OF THE DAY: Keep a spool of thread and its matching bobbin thread together with a twist tie. It not only takes the guesswork out of matching the thread to bobbin, it also keeps the same thread weights and manufacturers together. Happy quilting!

QUILTER'S TIP OF THE DAY: Organize your fabric strips by attaching them to a skirt hanger with multiple rungs. The strips hang neatly and are easily accessed while sewing. Happy quilting!

QUILTER'S TIP OF THE DAY: Would you like help to manage ironing those long lengths of binding strips? Make an elastic band to fit the narrow end of your ironing board. The elastic band helps to hold the binding in place as you advance the strip while ironing. Happy quilting!

QUILTER'S TIP OF THE DAY: After using a seam ripper, place your project on a flat surface and slide an eraser along the former seam allowance. The eraser will collect those pesky little threads into a nice clump that picks up easily. Happy quilting!
