Happy Earth Day!

Today, amongst the other 365 days of this year, we are reminded to be kind, intentional, and present to the beautiful planet we live on and all marvels that share it with us. God spent days creating it perfectly to give us as a gift. For through His work, we can see and understand His beauty and His love. Let us appreciate the sunrise, the sunset, the night sky filled with stars, the landscapes that take our breath and gaze away, and the animals big and small that help us feel apart of something bigger today and every day.

Today is Divine Mercy Sunday! It's a day that we acknowledge and celebrate the depth of His mercy for us, that Christ took up all of our sins onto the cross with Him and through His crucifixion, death and resurrection has forgiven us for any sin we have and will commit. He has forgiven us and has made a way for us to live in Heaven.

Let us take today to reflect on His mercy and on the outpouring of love He has for us. No sin can keep us from receiving His love and mercy, only the shame and pride we keep with it will. Let us choose to accept His love and His mercy today and every day.

Happy Solemnity of St. Joseph!

Today we honor the man who answered the call to be the father of Jesus, who stands as a model to all men who have become fathers whether intentionally or non-traditionally, and who stands as a model to all women the kind of man she deserves to have as her husband. This world needs men like St. Joseph willing to claim, protect, love, and humble themselves to their wife and children.
