We want to share our exciting news! The new specialized boiler is finally installed! 😃 We finally got the loan we were waiting on, got it hooked up and the new electrical done! Just waiting on one more test and an inspection from the state and we can open again!! Hooray!

Dear customers,

Thank you for your patience with our current processing challenges. We are realizing that it is going to take longer than we hoped to resolve the issues with installing a new boiler. We also feel it is important to continue providing service to you as much a possible. We have arranged to outsource our dry cleaning and pressing to a place in Reno until we are able to do it ourselves again. We want to be upfront that their prices are higher than ours and will also need to include the delivery cost, but this is the best solution we can offer at this time. For those who would like to use this service, the pick/up drop off days will be on Wednesdays so you can plan accordingly. We are still happy to do Fluff and Fold (laundry) orders and wash blankets and comforters (non-dry cleaning) in house. Thank you for letting us serve you.

Our boiler has died! Here at Crystal Cleaners we have a really old boiler that has finally given up. It lasted twice its age expectancy for which we were grateful, and has been repaired many times, but this time it won’t revive. We purchased a new boiler last December knowing that this one was about to go, and have been waiting for permissions and permits to build onto our current building to house it as it will not work where the old one was. Permission was finally given but not in time to get it done before the old boiler died. Unfortunately our dry cleaning machine and all our presses have to have the boiler to function. So we temporarily won’t be able to do any dry cleaning or pressing until the new one has it’s new home and is installed. Any dry cleaning or pressing orders that were not completed when it went out can stay until we can process them or they can be picked up. We hope that this situation will be resolved quickly. We will still be open regular business hours for pick up and will be able to continue washing blankets and comforters (that don’t need dry cleaning) and can still do fluff and fold laundry orders for you. Thank you for allowing us to continue to serve you.
