Fairfax County Police Department has joined our other jurisdictions with definitive guidelines about what is and isn't legal to ride on the W&OD. Better yet, they will be on the trail this coming Friday morning to offer safety education. They'll be east of Vienna and in the Reston area.

Coming soon: 100 bikes to 100 kids who could use a little luck over in DC!

For the past few years we've partnered with the DC Police for a bike giveaway that benefits at risk youth Downtown. It's such an honor to be a part of this amazing program.

We'll be back next week to help the police men and women get them all assembled, but first... we had to get them there.

Logistics is a thing and typically we just kind of wing it, so that's what we did again this year! 😂

Fortunately it just-so-happened that the delivery driver was ready to get creative with his big a$$ truck and we were able to touch butts to our giant Uhaul and make the offload procedure much more streamlined with his pallet jack vs handloading each bike.

From there we managed to squeeeeeze through the tight parking lot at the Police Station, roll out the loading ramp right up the back door! Then, suddenly, more and more hands showed up to make light work of moving them from the truck into the gym! Believe us, every extra set of hands helps!

Huge thanks to Mid-Atlantic Off-Road Enthusiasts for hosting the Summer Picnic and ride today at Lake Accotink Park!

The weather was 👌, the food 😋 and the trails 🤘!

In particular, a special thanks to all the ride leaders and volunteers because without you, we'd all just be standing around bored and hungry! 😂 🤗 🩷

Join us to try our or your own version Saturday, August 22nd. Meet 12:30 at the shop, rollout at 1pm.

Groups should be no larger than 10, must wear a helmet and follow all traffic regulations!
