Using only sustainable fabrics such as bamboo, organic cotton, and h**p blends, as well as 100% non-toxic dye, we hand dye and hand print each of our pieces to achieve luxurious, earth-friendly fashion. Indigo Apparel is an upper market eco-fashion brand. We maintain a vegan approach by using the highest quality sustainable materials such as organic bamboo, organic cotton, & h**p as well as 100% non-toxic dyes and recycled fabrics. Every piece is produced to a high quality standard.

Hey friends! Many of you know over the past 3 years I’ve been working on building a collective art space with my bff called The Studio Phantasmagoria. We’ve been graced with a STELLAR team full of talent, good hearts, and dedication.
All this to say I am slowly moving away from my own single brand Indigo Apparel, and working on more collective apparel within the shop. Sustainable fashion is the only type of fashion I will continue to make! However I am going to phase out this Instagram, and focus more heavily on what I can do for my collective, my team, and our joint journey as artists.

ALSO! It was recently brought to our attention that May 1st is International Workers' Day, also known as Labour Day in most countries and often referred to as May Day. It is a celebration of laborers and the working classes that is promoted by the international labor movement and occurs every year on May Day. We want to take the time to acknowledge this international holiday and celebrate it along with one another and equality.

WHO’S READY? We’re popping up and donating 100% of proceeds to support families in Honduras affected by storms and landslides this past November (as if 2020 wasn’t already bad enough...)
☀️ Since it’s sunny, let’s raise money 💰 Surprise - come see Jackii tomorrow!!!!
WHEN? Saturday 4/24 (the event continues on 5/1 and 5/2 weather permitting)
LOCATION: 150 Traymore Ave., Island Park NY 11558
EVENT TIME: 11am-5pm (Jackii will be there from 11-2pm, but Indigo merch will be on sale ‘til it runs out!)
Limited editions, one offs, and last chance items are ALL marked $10-$20-$30 🦋🌈🪡❤️💘 Which you all know is crazy because we never have sales... but it’s for a good cause! So come show some good old fashioned, outdoor, community support.
The fundraiser is in the form of a huge garage sale, and has some really beautiful furniture, home decor, tons of clothing, crafting and knitting supplies, art, books, and more!

Best gift! Thank you ♥️ The Fashionpedia by is a reference guide so vast, I wish I had it as a textbook when I was in F.I.T. 🧵
Fashion nerds like me will enjoy the endless pages of technical flats, sizing info, industry standards, and so so so much more in a really beautifully designed book.
The point is, get one :) They have a lot of different books. I have The Hidden Facts of Fashion, which is also pretty stellar...very coffee table-y.
Do you have any of these books? I’m wondering which ones I should invest in next 👗👖👠👙👘👑🧦🧳

Geode Curtains 💎 Ice dyed samples from a few weeks ago. Are you familiar with the ice dyeing process? All in all, it takes anywhere from 3 to 4 full days, and lots and lots of love.
This piece of bamboo challis fabric is roughly 60” wide by 60” long, and was dyed for close to 80 hours. I used 5 different colors- not all blues like you might suspect.
If you’re interested in having a piece ice dyed, keep in mind I can only do this type of work on natural fabrics (I prefer organic cotton, bamboo, h**p, etc.) - and always keep in mind the dyes have a plan of their own! Samples are an option, but in the end, custom dyeing is truly a one-of-a-kind style of art. Every piece is different, and that’s why it’s so special.
