Fargo-Moorhead, get ready to get dressed up in those retro caftans, pile on the vintage costume jewelry, don those red curly wigs, and have a great time at the First Annual Roper Romp & Shop in downtown Fargo, North Dakota on Saturday, September 19, 2026!

Get ready to say, 'Hi Helen!' while traveling from one shop to another, stopping for coffee & treats, getting your nails done, having dinner at a local restaurant, enjoying evening entertainment downtown, and getting a nightcap at one of downtown's Regal Beagles.

(Of course, some folks may want to dress as Stanley, Jack, Janet, Chrissy, or other character from the show too. It's all good!)

Tickets are $19, which includes an event tote bag (a $19 value), a retro 70s selfie area, and a $5 donation to Parachigo, a vital, creative, volunteer-run third space in downtown Fargo.

Just finished the debut novel, Possession, by .sizemore.writes. It's the first in the The Shadow Walker Chronicles - & it's going to be rough to wait for more. He did an excellent job of weaving in and out of military and magic, marrying the past to present, showing rather than telling the parallels and mysteries.
