The final Crusday! A bitter sweet event as we say goodbye to the spring semester and hello to the changes God has for us.

Here is a short recap of last night. Shawna started the night with a story regarding how God “fills the hole” that every human is searching to fill. Then, Kyle talked through a passage in Jude (17-25) which discusses the power of God’s love and the effect it should have on our lives. He reminded us that God’s love allows for us to have a relationship with Him and with others. Next, Hannah shared a student story regarding the incredible impact Cru has had on her life!

Finally, Kyle sent off the amazing seniors of Cru (see previous post for more info), and we had a moment to pray over their next steps in life.

We had a great semester and hope to see you next year! If you want to talk with someone from Cru, please reach out! A Cru leader is more than happy to talk with you.

Cru was so good last night! Here is a recap, in case you were not able to make it!

First we heard a student story from Grace!
She talked about her spiritual journey and her health issues that she learned to lean on God for her strength.

Then we heard from Kyle!
Kyle talked about our spiritual gifts. These gifts are different than our talents that we may have. These gifts are given by God, when we accept Him, so that we build up the church. We need to use our gifts, with love, to glorify God.

It’s important to remember that we all have different gifts, and we should not be discouraged if we have a different gift than the people around us. Each of our gifts build up the multiple parts of the Body of Christ. We see this in 1 Corinthians 12:12-31.

If you have any questions or would like to talk to someone about his topic, feel free to reach out! A Cru leader would love to talk to you!
