May is Brain Cancer Awareness Month, and we’re honoring retired Moorhead Police Officer Bradley “Brad” Schenck, who bravely fought a malignant brain tumor and passed away in November 2025.
To honor Brad’s fight, our squad cars are proudly displaying gray Brain Cancer Awareness ribbons throughout the month. You’ll see these ribbons on our vehicles as a visible reminder of Brad’s strength, his service to Moorhead, and the many families impacted by brain cancer.
We are also sharing an online fundraiser opportunity. Purchase a shirt, and $5 from every item sold will be donated to the local Pray for Gray chapter, supporting brain tumor awareness, research, and assistance for families in our region.

Brad served our department with dedication, courage, and a commitment to community that continues to inspire us.
Thank you for standing with us and helping keep Brad’s legacy alive. 💙
