Today is a day we recognize the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women around the world. Whether you’re a working woman making moves, or a stay at home mom; you matter and you are making a difference! I am proud to know and support so many amazing women in and out of business. My mom was a single mother going to college and working full time raising me for a period of time. I have watched her run and manage businesses over the years, all while cooking three meals a day every day and handling all of the household chores for a family of five. I have watched her pivot and handle any and every obstacle thrown her way with grace and strength. My strength, determination, and relentless pursuit in life is all thanks to her. 💪
Apart from my mother; I have watched my cousins, friends, and acquaintances start and thrive in their businesses. Even if I don’t know them, I have enjoyed watching local women expand and take off in their companies. It’s not just about businesses though, stay at home mom’s have devoted their lives to caring for their family. I also know some amazing women who have started life changing missions, municipalities, and non-profit organizations. 👑
