With grateful hearts, we are sharing the news that we are closing up shop at American Native.
In the fall of 2011, two brothers set out on a memorable road trip through the American South, bringing about a pride in the spirit of American entrepreneurship and a desire to build a brand rooted in intentional, quality products, and the celebration of things made by heart and by hand. For the last 7 years, we have been able to do just that — providing quality, American-made goods to our incredible community and consumer base.
The past couple years have been ones of transition. I, Clayton, the maker of the brand, have felt a tug in pursuit of a new career path. As much as I have loved the experience working with my hands, providing our customers quality goods, and being a part of the small business community here in Fayetteville, it is evident that this chapter is ready to close and a new, personal one is ready to open.
Overall, we are so grateful. Grateful to our repeat customers, the friendly, proud faces that stop us around town just to show us their beloved and worn-in leather items, and to the small business community who has spurred us on in the various ups and downs of operating their own pursuit. We will forever cherish this chapter in our story and how each customer made it possible.
December 31st, 2019 will be our last day in business. On the site, we will be marking down some of our existing inventory + posting archived items at discounted rates. We will have limited availability for our regular apron orders, and our lead time will be longer than usual. In order to get handmade items in by Christmas [aprons, belts, etc.] we ask that you place your orders by December 13th. We invite you to shop with us this Christmas season, while our supplies last, as a last nod to this business we’ve so dearly cherished.
Thank you for all your support. It’s because of you this business was able to be a part of our story.
