Our Life in Motion Department got a HUGE delivery of Beyond Yoga today, and for the first timeโ€ฆ COLOR! ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿฉท

When we first brought Beyond Yoga into Eclections, the timing meant we were able to start with their fabulous black basicsโ€”but we had to wait for the seasonal collections to begin shipping.

Well, theyโ€™re HERE! ๐Ÿ™Œ

And oh my goodness, there are some GOOD pieces in this collection.

Beyond Yoga is so much more than what you wear to the gym or yoga studio. This shipment includes pieces you can easily style for work, lunch with the girls, running errands, travel, a casual weekendโ€ฆand yes, your workout too.

To our customers who were shopping with us around 2:30 this afternoonโ€ฆ we owe you an apology. โค๏ธ

If you happened to be in the store this afternoon, you unfortunately witnessed a rather unpleasant situation, and I want to personally apologize for both the disruption and for the fact that our attention was pulled away from YOU while we dealt with it.

A gentleman had previously left his wallet in our store. It was found and safely stored until he and his companion returned today to retrieve it. Upon receiving the wallet, they became very upset and accused us of removing a credit card and Social Security card from it.

As you can imagine, this was an extremely serious accusation.

I explained that our store is extensively covered by security cameras and that we had video from the time the wallet was found, through the time it was stored, until it was returned today. I offered to have them review the footage with us, but they declined and the situation continued to escalate.

At that point, we contacted the police so that an official report could be made and we could provide the video footage if needed.

Once the police arrived, the situation changed considerably. The couple then explained that the supposedly missing items may actually be on a desk at home, as the gentleman recalled that the last time he had used them was a couple of weeks ago when renting a car.

While I am relieved the situation ultimately took that turn, I am truly sorry that our customers had to witness any of it.

More importantly, I'm sorry that our staff was understandably distracted while trying to diffuse the situation. You came into Eclections to shop, relax, and hopefully have a little funโ€”not to find yourselves in the middle of an uncomfortable confrontation.

Thank you to everyone who was there for your patience and understanding. We appreciate you more than you know. โค๏ธ

They say there is never a dull moment in retail. Today apparently decided to prove that point.

And with thatโ€ฆ I am officially going home, taking a long bath, pouring myself a margarita, and attempting to return my blood pressure to a number my doctor would approve of. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿน
