I can't believe we started this journey, this crazy, amazing, wild journey 5 years ago. Some days it seems like a lifetime ago, and others it seems like yesterday.

I've grown as a woman, as a business owner, and as a creative soul. I've celebrated victories and learned from defeat. I've shed tears of joy and frustration. I've created a space safe, inviting and welcoming for absolutely everyone.

We've hosted and helped create almost 50 events. We've acquired a customer base of over 2,500, a social media following over 1,500, and shipped Fdno54 original designs to over half of the US. We now provide marketing support and custom branded merchandise to 12 individual small businesses.

All of this was accomplished, against all odds, in a little one-room schoolhouse in the middle of nowhere. I share these accomplishments with you because they are as much yours as mine. This would still be a little empty building if it was not for you - my followers, my customers, my clients, my supporters, my tribe.

I'm not sure what the future holds for Fdno54 and our building, but I do know I'm sure proud of how far we've come.

Going on hour 35 of our current weather situation. I pray for the electrical crews out there trying to get us back up & running.

And Lord, I also pray for the families with little kids to keep warm, keep fed, keep entertained and keep from opening the fridge a hundred times an hour. Their snack supply and leftovers were gone yesterday.

I pray for the hubbys who's beer fridge is empty and internet connection is gone, forcing them to shotgun white claws and have a somewhat coherent conversation with their spouse.

I pray for the Mommas that have run out of paper plates and underwear while having to watch the dishes and laundry pile up, knowing what awaits after her "vacation". You still have time to rescue that wine trapped in a bottle and check your white claws.

I pray for the bar workers that will be slinging drinks to all the adults that have been couped up with now nearly feral, unbathed children and spouses, because once the power comes back on, guess where they are going to talk about what they had to endure during the Christmas Power Outage of 2023.

Lord, hear my prayers.
