Those that know me know I can dig in and work till 11… midnight… even the next morning, just trying to finish the next thing. But in this season, the Lord has been teaching me to cease the striving and be where I am.

Tonight, after the storms, the sunset was stunning, all 7 cats enjoyed playing in the puddles (story for another day on how I ended up rescuing so many cats!!), and I got to just enjoy seeing creation while the Lord saw and met me where I was at.
