I restyle, refurnish and redecorate furniture, frames, and other house dรฉcor. I paint with Annie Sloan chalk paint and use Annie Sloan wax to finish my pieces. I have been painting for five years. I find most of all my piece at garage sales and thrift stores. I love finding treasures and giving them a new beginning. Little about myself:
I grew up in Fishers all my life. I went to HSE school system
s and IUPUI for college and now have a BS in biology. I have been painting for five years and I have learned from my mother. She has been an interior designer for ten years and has help many people decorate and design their homes. She and I painted and restyle different pieces using Annie Sloan chalk paint. Our style is more antique vintage chic. What I do is paint the project then distress the project to give it an antique flare. I distress the area that would natural wear out over time like corners, edges, and handle bars. For me personally, I love to use the colors Old White or Paris Grey. These colors are the most versatile. They match all other colors and really look beautiful in any setting. I do have other colors that I use. I have mostly every color under the rainbow! Prices and Scheduling
Prices:
I can paint about anything you have in your house! Bigger objects:
Dressers, bead frames, large desks, dining room tables, chairs
These projects would use more paint, wax and my time. They would range between $50-$150. Smaller Objects:
Side tables, coffee table, frames, wooden trays
These projects usually have more details. They would range between $15-$50
The other thing to consider is the state of the project. If the item is stable, clean and unpainted the project will be faster and less labor-some. If the item is painted a darker color, has many scratches, candle wax, or/and rocky the project will take more time and effort (they still turn out lovely) which would increase the price (It would depend on multiple factors. I would need to see the item). Delivery and Commuting
If I am painting a piece for you, if you bring that piece to me and pick it up there is no extra cost. If you are wanting me to pick up the piece and/or return it, there is a fee. If you live farther away, there is a commuting fee as well. Miles 1-5 miles ($0) 6-10 miles($10) 11-15 miles($20) 15-30 miles($30)
These fees include picking up and/or delivery. These are flat rates. (If you live 6 miles away, I will pick up and drop of the finished piece for only $10 plus the rate we agreed upon to finish the piece. If you want me to pick up, but not deliver it is still $10 if you live 6 miles away.) Scheduling
For any project big or small I will have one week to finish the project. I also do rushed orders for $10 extra. This is a two-day maximum. Time 7-day Maximum ($0) 2-day Maximum ($10)
I take only cash or check. I require for all projects that a deposit of half of the amount is paid before hand.
