♻️ Used clothing recycling guidelines: To keep our recycling process efficient, we can only accept certain types of garments.

✅ We Accept
- Everyday wear: all sizes, but not winter items please.
- Common fabrics: cotton, denim, polyester blends, wool
- Clean, gently used items

❌ We Cannot Accept
- Heavily embroidered or beaded garments
- Ceremonial or specialty attire (e.g., wedding, festival, or dance costumes)
- Items with sequins, ornate stitching, or delicate embellishments

💡 Why? Our recycling equipment is designed for everyday fabrics. Specialty garments are beautiful, but they require different handling than we can provide.

🌍 Protect Our Waterways—One Wash at a Time! 🌊

Did you know that tiny microfibers shed from clothing during washing can end up in our rivers and oceans? The NJ Department of Environmental Protection highlights that installing washing machine filters can significantly reduce microfiber pollution.

At Millennium International Textile, Inc., we’re committed to sustainability. Let’s take action together to keep our environment clean! 💚♻️

Microfiber washing machine filters are used to capture tiny plastic fibers (microplastics) released from synthetic clothing during the washing process, preventing them from entering the wastewater and polluting the environment. These microfibers, shed by friction and turbulence in the washing machine, can end up in rivers and oceans, posing a threat to aquatic life and potentially impacting human health. Filters help to reduce this microfiber pollution by capturing them before they are released into the water.
