Breaking the radio silence to brag on my wife a bit. She surprised me with the most amazing waffle iron for Valentine’s/ my birthday. I’ve been dreaming of this ever since I saw it in December. Shout out to for finding/restoring immaculate waffle iron and of course, thanks to my lovely wife!

On another note, I’m still doing restorations. I’ve mostly been busy lately with some John Wright pans for my wife’s collection. I’ve definitely slowed down, but I’m still in the game.

If you don’t have an Aebleskiver pan, I highly suggest getting one! Just added this one to my personal collection. Aebleskiver are like a cross between donut holes and beignet, definitely tasty! Topped with powdered sugar and served with jam.

Here’s a little for you. This is one of the four anodes I use in my electrolysis tank. This is after one cleaning of a older pan. The anodes attract rust, crud, and anything else that isn’t iron. Electrolysis is my final step in stripping a pan before seasoning and ensures your pan is looking good as new! Takes some cleaning between each run, but it’s worth it!
