A few people have messaged me asking about the trinket box. It has been temporarily removed, as unfortunately it was not being respected. People have been leaving trash inside and clearing out all of the contents.

I don’t have an unlimited supply of trinkets to refill it every day, and seeing it empty and filled with trash is obviously not how I envisioned the program.

I will reconsider bringing it back when I’m back from vacation. Thank you to everyone who participated respectfully. I always want to spread a little joy, and I appreciate those who helped make that possible.

I am completely blown away by the event that was the Flemington Cup today. To see so many people in town, happy, dancing, singing in the rain, under a double rainbow, and simply enjoying themselves, was truly incredible.

I’m so proud of everyone in this town who came together to make this event such a success. Ally Norton, the director of Love Flemington, is an inspiring woman. The fact that she put this event together in just a month is remarkable, and it’s inspiring to see so many people advocating for and believing in this town.

Thank you to everyone who worked behind the scenes to make this event happen, to the volunteers, the businesses, the performers, and everyone who came out to participate. Today was a beautiful reminder that Flemington can be a vibrant, fun, and welcoming place, and I’m excited to see what comes next for our community. 🌈🧡🪩
