Hey everyone! Just an FYI, our trinket box program is currently on a little hiatus while we rethink how we offer it. When it returns, the trinket exchange will be moving inside the shop during normal business hours.

We truly appreciate everyone who has participated and helped make the box something fun and whimsical for the community. The goal has always been to spread a little joy and encourage the simple idea that sharing is caring. Unfortunately, the honor system has sometimes been abused, with many people taking everything out of the box without leaving anything in return, as well as trash and inappropriate items being left in the box.

We don’t want to get rid of the idea, we just want to protect the magic of it and keep it safe and enjoyable for everyone.

Once it’s back, there is absolutely no pressure to shop! Feel free to pop in, exchange a trinket, and be on your way. Bring one, take one, sharing is caring!

It’s very rare that I cry over a celebrity death, but Dolly’s death hit me like a ton of bricks today.

I actually hung this poster in the store about a month ago. I think we can all agree that Dolly was a beacon of light, love, and kindness. Everything she did, not only for music, but for children, education, people in need, and countless communities, has always been truly inspiring.

There’s something really special about having public figures who remind us that you can be incredibly successful and still lead with a giving heart. I hope the example she set inspires others to do the same.

You will be deeply missed, Dolly. Thank you for the music, and all the gifts you gave to this world.
