I have been making Memory Bears since about 1993. Almost all of my customers come to me by word of mouth. Someone has a bear made--shows it to someone else--who shows it to someone else--well you get the picture. I do occasionally get someone who has not seen one of my bears, therefore I am creating this page to be able to post pictures and info about the bears. Well, I did a thing today! I’ve been thinking about trying a different bear pattern from the one I’ve been using for the past 34 years. So I thought today would be a good day to try something new. I’m glad I got that outta my system! Now I can get back to my normal pattern that I can make with my eyes closed! 😜

This is a post that I usually make around the middle of September, but this year is a little different. I normally get overwhelmed with Christmas orders. I'm not sure how that's going to work this year, because I'm about to have knee replacement surgery and I'll be staying with my daughter 4-6 weeks so.......bear-making will be at a standstill just before Christmas. If you are thinking of bears for Christmas gifts please get them to me ASAP.
