UPDATE
The linemen are back in position to connect us back up after replacing the pole. WooHoo!

The sun was shining bright when I got to work this morning to a powerless building, so it was no big deal, really. I did some prep work and finished some hand sewing with the help of my phone flashligh. Then the sun was no longer bright in my window (raining AGAIN) and my phone battery needed a charge. Time to grab some food and let my phone charge. I did learn that a pole was down in the alley behind the shops and they are diligently working to get the power back on, but for now the phone is charging in the car while I "see" if I can get more prep work done by window light.

ATTENTION:

Starting Monday, March 31, there will be an additional 3% charge on all card transactions, both debit and credit.
I've put this off as long as I can but I really need to offset the increasing fees over the past eight years.

I do still accept cash and checks if you don't want to pay a fee for using your card. Thank you all so much for your continued business.

The shop will not be open to customers today. Y'all stay home and off the roads for a while.

Also, unrelated to the weather, the shop will be closing at 3:30pm on Monday, January 13th. Miss Beth is in the play Call Me Bean at Cypress Moon Studios and they will be shooting a trailer that afternoon. I'll be posting the trailer next week and you can make plans to see the show. Dates are Jan 23-26. Stay tuned!

Today is my family's Christmas so the shop will be closed. I've got a new great nephew to meet and spoil!
