I for one, will never forget 9/11. I remember exactly what I was doing, where I was, the conversations I had, the shock and sadness people had in their faces. The disbelief. It happened at a time when humans were NOT desensitized to death and horror. Our country came together as a united nation, everyone was on the SAME side. As Americans. I only wish we could be the same country we were on September 12th, 2001. Experiencing it, living during that time, is very different than being taught about it in school, or watching videos of it online....and unfortunately, there are many people in our country that don't know what it feels like to experience this horror and terror, and don't know what it feels like to live in a united country. We are broken. Taking the life of another human has become an easy out for cowardly people. For people who can't cope with someone having different views than themselves. For people who are selfish, desensitized, who feel entitled. People who think they are right and everyone should agree or die. Im sad for our country, and Im sad for our citizens that have NO CLUE what it is to be an American. I have never been a political person. I am an open minded person who seeks truth, facts, and I make my own decisions, and I don't expect everyone to like them. But, I would never consider taking the life of someone who doesn't. And to people that think that action is justified and OK - In my eyes, you are NO different than the monsters who overtook the planes on this day 24 years ago. πΊπ² π #911
