I for one, will never forget 9/11. I remember exactly what I was doing, where I was, the conversations I had, the shock and sadness people had in their faces. The disbelief. It happened at a time when humans were NOT desensitized to death and horror. Our country came together as a united nation, everyone was on the SAME side. As Americans. I only wish we could be the same country we were on September 12th, 2001. Experiencing it, living during that time, is very different than being taught about it in school, or watching videos of it online....and unfortunately, there are many people in our country that don't know what it feels like to experience this horror and terror, and don't know what it feels like to live in a united country. We are broken. Taking the life of another human has become an easy out for cowardly people. For people who can't cope with someone having different views than themselves. For people who are selfish, desensitized, who feel entitled. People who think they are right and everyone should agree or die. Im sad for our country, and Im sad for our citizens that have NO CLUE what it is to be an American. I have never been a political person. I am an open minded person who seeks truth, facts, and I make my own decisions, and I don't expect everyone to like them. But, I would never consider taking the life of someone who doesn't. And to people that think that action is justified and OK - In my eyes, you are NO different than the monsters who overtook the planes on this day 24 years ago. 🇺🇲 💔 #911

Today is bitter sweet. Closing the doors to our boutique, the place that enabled us to meet so many people - SO many new friends, it's hard and has been a mixed-feelings kind of day for sure!

I have loved having this little shop - spending hours making hats with you and your kids, helping you shop for gifts for your loved ones, finding your perfect outfits for certain events, and creating custom shirts. All the conversations, big and small. Even the quick 5 minute pop ins on your lunch breaks. Every single time you stepped into our store, it was appreciated more than you know. Thank you for shopping small & supporting my small business!!

I will miss all your faces! And, I am so thankful for this experience and time here on Main St. Thank you to everyone who came into the shop today (and accepted my hugs lol), you know who you are - even just to say hi - I'm so glad I got to see you and chat with you before closing the shop doors. ❤️

This is not a goodbye, it's a see you around soon! I will be around town, and I'll be sure to pop in and say hi to you, and I will see you at the town events, rodeos & kids sports events soon!!

I swear, the Universe does not want me in the shop this week!!! I sent my husband to grab some things from the shop yesterday, and he left my keys in his truck, which is currently on the WAY West side today!! 🤦🏼‍♀️😫 So, Im closed again today. I will figure something out to extend my sale thru next week. This week has just been a wash and Im over it!! Life is LIFIN' for sure!! Im sorry!!! Extended hours are for sure in order for this weekend and next week!!
