Look at your calendar, because we are officially in the LAST WEEK to get your act together for the biggest celebration of the summer! As you can see in the flyer image_95ada5.jpg, next Saturday, June 27th, Florence is throwing an absolute blockbuster event: the 250 Years of USA Freedom Semiquincentennial Parade! 🇺🇸✨

If you’ve been putting off registering your business, group, hobby club, or special interest float, this is your final wake-up call! We want to see our community completely line the streets of the best little town in Wisconsin.

Here are the absolute facts you need to know to get involved this week:

🗓️ THE GAME PLAN (SATURDAY, JUNE 27TH)
Line Up: 11:30 AM ⏰

Parade Begins: 1:00 PM sharp! 🚀

Veteran Appreciation: Directly following the parade. 🎖️

Street Dance: Keep the party rolling at Tavern on Central starting at 3:00 PM! 💃🕺

We’ve been at this for about two and a half weeks. Here’s where things stand.
89 Pine Cone scans across Florence County. 29 unique participants. People are hitting multiple stops — some of you are seriously committed and you know who you are.
Active stops so far: Merrill's Coffee and Bistro Cast Away Bait Shop Filling Station Hugo's Barb's Cafe Angie's Creations The Tavern on Central, Michaela May's Bakery, Florence Phone Booth , the Wild Rivers Interpretive Center, the Party Fiddle Factory..

People are coming from all over Wisconsin and Upper Michigan, Illinois, wven Florida. Florence County is on everyone’s radar and I think that’s wonderful.
The Grand Northwoods Basket drawing is at the end of August. Memorial Day Weekend is when this officially kicks off countywide. More stops coming. More businesses coming aboard.
May 15th is the deadline to get your business on the map, on the passport, and on the back of this summer’s shirt.
