Furniture Rescue Saving unloved furniture one piece at a time! I rescue used, unloved furniture and give it new life. Stop in!!

When you buy a piece from me, please remember that it is USED and has been loved before it came to me. Though I spend a lot of time working on the pieces and giving them a new "do", each will still have it's own unique marks and wear that gives it character and makes it special. :-)

We're nestled in the foothills of the beautiful Appalachian Mountains, so whether you come in on St Rt 149 or St Rt 331 you'll be treated to some gorgeous scenic views!

Available in my booth at Flushing Mercantile , this is a Fenton 5 petal "mistake" hurricane candle lamp . These were produced in error because the dogwood only has 4 petals...but the painters didn't realize it and the pieces got released from 1980-1982.
Hence the "mistake". Fairly rare. It is signed.

It's the start of another finds filled week at Flushing Mercantile !
This week's color is....warm, earthy, timeless brown!!
Brown pairs so well with whites, amber, sage greens and dusty blues. It reminds me of old leather books, coffee, old boots, cinnamon and the earth.
Here are some great brown finds that will add depth and a sense of comfort to your home.
Brown......because beige needed a personality adjustment. 😅😉
