I’m back ! I hope 🙂

Back in 2013 we got our first dog and another in 2014 they quickly became the best of friends.
They loved and protected every child they came in contact with.

Stache sat in bed with me through some dark depressing times often licking tears from my eyes. He took his final steps on Nov.4, 2024.
Life has been different without his protection and his love. His happy big self has been so missed.

Shady became an only dog and was a princess for about 6 months until we found The Dude.

After a few months of confinement and scheduling walks - they became the best of friends.

March 4, 2026 , I came home to find Shady in her final resting position. In true Shade fashion middle of the couch, pillow, blanket, and her little paws curled under. No warning signs, she ate and was business as usual leading up to.

While we are heartbroken I find peace in how peaceful she looked and comfort that she wasnt alone. The Dude was her hero - he sat by her side until I arrived home from work.

It’s the end of a long season. I pray the next chapter brings more joy and connections .
