Vintage 1930s L.E. Smith "Mt Pleasant" Black Amethyst 9" Glass Serving Platter with Etched Floral Daisy Design
Add a dramatic touch of classic sophistication to your home accents with this authentic 1930s L.E. Smith Black Amethyst Glass Handled Plate.
Crafted during the height of the Depression era, this gorgeous server features the legendary Mt. Pleasant pattern, celebrated for its unique shield-shaped contours, deeply scalloped trim, and sculptural open-loop double side handles.
While it presents as a high-gloss, mirror-bright obsidian black in standard room illumination, it holds two captivating secrets.
When viewed under direct sunlight or held up to a bright flashlight, the glass yields an incredibly rich, translucent violet-purple glow, beautifully illuminating a delicate, finely detailed etched floral daisy pattern across the interior base.
This exceptional piece effortlessly anchors a diverse range of interior styling themes, proving itself to be an essential accessory for Whims goth, Gothic elegance, cottage core, and Dark Academia aesthetic displays.
Its sleek geometric framework makes it equally stunning as an authentic highlight within minimal Art Deco or high-contrast Hollywood Regency settings.
Use it creatively as a luxury vanity tray to collect perfumes and cosmetics, a striking centerpiece riser for seasonal accent decorations, or as an elevated serving dish for small pastries, truffles, and finger foods.
Whether you are looking to bring a touch of dark academia mystery to your bookshelves, complete a dramatic Art Deco living room vignette, or find the ultimate unique gift for a vintage glass lover, this stunning Depression-era masterpiece brings irreplaceable character that modern replicas simply cannot match.

Antique from the 1890s.
Made in the USA.
In good antique condition. The glass itself is free of structural cracks, deep scratches, fractures, or breaks. Crucially, the highly vulnerable points along the scalloped sawtooth rim and the sharp corners of the hexagonal base are beautifully preserved with no chips or fleabites. The emerald green color remains crisp, vivid, and exceptionally radiant.
Please Note: In keeping with its genuine 129 year antique age, there is notable, honest metallic gold rubbing, thinning, and flaking present along the upper rim, the side scroll medallions, and the underside hexagonal foot edge from historical handling and washing over the generations. This surface wear is completely normal for authentic turn-of-the-century cold-painted glass and serves as a wonderful badge of historical authenticity.

BUY IT NOW!!
Vintage 9" Sgraffito Studio Pottery Green Folk Art Deer Stoneware Bowl
Indulge your love for rare Scandinavian design with this breathtaking vintage sgraffito studio art pottery bowl, handcrafted by the legendary Haunsø Keramik workshop in Denmark!
Produced during their golden era in the early 1950s, this spectacular piece features an exquisite, hand-carved sgraffito deer or stag motif framed by graceful woodland leaves
The rich, multi-tonal emerald green glaze provides a moody, painterly backdrop that contrasts beautifully against the creamy-white slipware carvings.
Every notch along the rim and line on the central wildlife figure was meticulously carved by hand, giving it a tactile, organic energy that mass-produced pieces simply cannot replicate.
Fully signed and numbered on the base by master potter William Haunsø.
Measuring an impressive 9 inches in diameter, its shallow 2-inch depth makes it incredibly versatile.
Display it as a statement centerpiece on a rustic farmhouse table, style it on a cabin bookshelf, or use it as an artistic catch-all dish on an entryway console.
Perfect for collectors of studio pottery, rustic folk art, or woodland cabin decor, this unique piece is ready to anchor your space with timeless style.
Whether draped in cozy cottage core charm on a sunlit bedroom dresser, anchoring a rustic farmhouse tiered tray, or rotated on a shelf to showcase its gorgeous, vibrant artwork, this rare slice of signed Danish modern history is ready to bring timeless soul and character into your home today!
Made in Denmark.
Vintage from the 1950s.
In good vintage condition. This rare mid-century Danish art pottery bowl is being sold As-Is due to localized rim wear and a single structural hairline crack. There is one tight hairline crack located strictly on one side of the piece that runs through the clay wall and can be physically felt with a fingernail on both the green interior and the cream-colored exterior. Right at the base of this hairline on the bottom outer edge, there is a distinct, physically textured chip, however, the bowl remains structurally stable and sits completely flat. The unglazed upper notched rim displays numerous small flea bites and shallow chips from handling over the decades, alongside a few smooth, original manufacturing glaze skips from its 1950s production. Despite these specific flaws, the remainder of the bowl is intact, and the central hand-carved sgraffito deer artwork remains exceptionally vibrant, glossy, and free of heavy surface scratches. Due to the hairline crack, this piece is ideal for bookshelf or sideboard styling and is recommended as a beautiful decorative display piece rather than for functional everyday use.
