We are hiring!

We are a small Sporting Goods Store looking for a detail-oriented and organized part-time bookkeeper to help manage our financial records. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with bookkeeping experience who is looking to support a friendly and dynamic team while working flexible hours.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable and receivable
Prepare and reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts
Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations
Track and manage expenses, ensuring proper categorization
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
Generate financial reports for management review
Communicate with external accountants and financial advisors as needed
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role (experience in small business accounting is a plus)
Proficient in accounting software account edge and Square
Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong communication skills a
Familiarity with payroll systems and tax filings is a plus
