We accept donations of children's clothing and provide clothing to local families per their request. We have helped numerous families in MD counties from Harford, Baltimore, and Cecil, and York County, PA, even host families in the area that were hosting children from Ukraine. When my husband and I were blessed with our first child, we also received an overwhelming amount of hand me down clothing.
So much so, that we were able to set aside enough for us and were still able to pass on countless bins of clothing to other expecting families! It became such a reoccurring project to organize new hand me downs and pass them on to others that we began joking that we were the “hand-me-down hub” of Harford County. In 2015 we turned that joke into a reality. All families benefit from hand me downs, especially when life has thrown curve balls like car repairs or medical expenses. Here's how it works:
We are NOT a store - clothes are FREE. Infant - Teen Sizes Available. Requests are done with minimal contact - send your request by phone or email with brief description of age, sizes, and any specific needs (jeans, coat, socks, ect.). We will touch base with any questions and pull an arrangement of clothing from our supplies to match. You will be notified when the request is ready to be picked up when YOUR schedule allows from our Drop/Pickup box located at Christ Church, Forest Hill, MD. It's that easy! Please understand we can only provide what we have in stock - but we also will do our very best to reach out to other resources to be able to provide what you need.
