Snowbunnies pose by the snowbunny mural

Snowbunnies in Forest began with Mr. Earl Johnston, the owner and editor of The Scott County Times from 1942-1985.
Snow being a special treat in this area spurred a tradition for the Senior girls. In the freezing cold, they run barefoot in swimsuits and pose just long enough to get a photo for the paper!
This is one of those years that we got snow!
Both my daughters posed years later. The snowbunny tradition endured in Scott County
