After five years, A. Danae LLC is officially coming to an end 🤍.
This is such a bittersweet post to make, knowing i’m letting go of the one thing that’s been consistent in my life since I was 16. I am so proud of all of the growth and accomplishments this business has brought me in the past 5 years. It’s a part of me and always will be. I had no idea that deciding on a whim to sell knitted beanies and embroidered keychains during my junior year of HS would land me to where I am today.
A. Danae LLC has sold and shipped items in 47 states and 7 countries. We’ve made friends & supporters around the world, with a combined following of 17k via TikTok and Instagram 🥹. I’ve owned 5 different embroidery machines, 3 sewing machines, and have had 4 different sewing set-ups… with now a whole room dedicated to sewing/embroidering. & I’ve done 7 pop-ups since 2019. Truly, thank you so much to every single supporter, customer, & model I’ve had over the years, nothing would be possible without you guys.
Although I’ve always loved being a business owner and what I do, I have found immense joy in my major and pursuing fashion design and eventually doing something in the industry. I’m in my third year at Texas Tech University as an Apparel Design & Manufacturing major and I have absolutely fallen in love with all the different sides of fashion. From patternmaking, to sewing, to fashion illustration, to digital design, I know that it’s something that I want to focus on and give my all to in my last 1.5 years, especially with my future senior collection & internship approaching.
Even though A. Danae LLC is ending as an embroidery business, A. Danae as a creative will forever live on. I hope we can stay connected, as I do have a lot of exciting things coming up, and will forever enjoy sharing content!
