I filmed this one Tuesday, before the news broke about bad things. I was trying to be proactive and plan for later in the week. I thought about refilming something else, but decided against it. Sad week, yes. However in this day and age it's always something, amiright? So we will carry on, still have fun, and find the joy in the little things. Today is a tough one for theater kids. Tim. Dolly. For me they both brought a profound amount of passion, joy and feeling of belonging at such a formative time of my life. The way they lived their lives, being who they wanted to be, is so inspiring. What can be said that hasn't already been said. I know there's nothing I can say. If you're hurting, I see you, I hear you, I feel you. I was you, I am you. We are here if you need a safe space. Whether is to grieve the loss, to laugh at the good times or just to be. Anytime.

First day of school! Hooray! Here in Fort Collins, it's the first day of school for Poudre School district. A little factoid you may not know, we are a local, family owned business! Yep. Two kiddos, school aged. You may have even seen, or met them running around the store if you've been in. Something you might know, we're terrible at social media. Like REALLY bad. My personal page gets maybe one post every 2-3 months. This one..yikes, even worse. That being said, summer's over, and that means spooky season is here! I swear to you, I'm going to do my dammdest to post more. We have so many awesome products, tips and fun things to share with you! Now that my lovely children aren't asking me every five minutes for a snack or activity, I'm going to focus that energy into bombarding y'all with some content! It probably won't be very good, but it will be fun gosh darn it! Thanks for sticking with us all these years, and here's to many, many more!

The Life of the Party and Theatre House are closed today (1/30) in protest of the actions of this inept and fascist administration.

We stand in solidarity with our friends in Minnesota and with our whole chests say F**K ICE.

We are and always will be a LGBTQ+ safe space, we love and support our community, and we will never tolerate MAGA bullying.

If this post pi**es you off please feel free to let me (Brandon) know so I can block you. I donā€™t want you as a customer, I donā€™t want your money. Please feel free to f**k off forever.

Tomorrow our doors will be open to everyone (except MAGA) and weā€™ll go from there. The nation will eventually heal, people will learn and grow, neighbors will walk without fear.

But today is a Pretti Good reason to be closed.
