Thank you to all the women who joined us for the spiritual retreat! Your presence, openness, and fellowship made it a meaningful and uplifting experience for everyone involved. We are grateful for the moments of reflection, connection, and encouragement we shared together.

We’re carrying that same spirit with us into this week’s meeting and look forward to gathering again for another time of growth, support, and community. We can’t wait to see you there!

We appreciate the prayers!

We appreciate the prayers!

This week we are praying for our dear PWOC sister at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JB MDL) Their theme is Rooted In Christ
Romans 1:16
I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes

Hope everyone enjoyed their break last week and is ready to be back together again for Lesson 13!

Lesson 10: Acts 13:1–14:28

As Paul and Barnabas travel, they face both opposition and openness. Some eagerly receive the message of Jesus, while others reject it or stir up trouble. Yet through it all, Paul and Barnabas remain faithful, showing us that:
• Obedience to God does not guarantee ease
• Resistance often accompanies God’s work
• Faithfulness matters more than comfort
The disciples are filled with joy and the Holy Spirit, showing us that our circumstances do not define our spiritual strength… God’s presence does!

See you this week for Lesson 11!

✨ Lesson 4 Recap ✨
“You will not be able to overthrow them” Acts 4:32–5:42

Man may try to silence truth, but God’s work cannot be stopped. The early believers walked in unity and bold obedience, trusting that if God was behind it, nothing could stand against it.

What a reminder for us today: stand firm, trust God, and keep walking in faith no matter the opposition.

So thankful for the wisdom shared, the hearts opened, and the sisterhood growing deeper each week.

✨ PWOC Week Two - Acts 2:1–47 ‘I will pour out my soul’ ✨

So thankful to all who came this week! Here is a quick re-cap for those who might have missed it!

Pentecost reminds us that God empowers ordinary people in extraordinary ways!
-The Holy Spirit came with power—filling believers and giving them boldness to speak truth.
-Peter proclaimed Jesus as Lord and Messiah.
-Hearts were changed—3,000 people repented, believed, and were baptized.
-The early church lived in unity, generosity, prayer, and joy.

Key takeaway: When the Holy Spirit fills us, our lives point to Jesus and our faith is lived out in loving one another.

“Repent and be baptized… and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” — Acts 2:38
