Leola Lamott was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She owned a small beauty salon during the 1960's, which served as a mecca for style and timeless fashion advice. While visiting as a child, I fondly remember her closets overflowing with one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces and beautiful clothes that held both a modern and classic appeal. From nights out on the town with girlfriends, to work and
play attire, my sister, Dominque Simone, is motivated by making trends her own. For great date night outfits with the hubby, I often find myself borrowing the newest styles from her closet! As I began to build a vision for my boutique, these two women came to mind. A perfect mixture of the two describe not only my personal style, but that of many women around the world.
