Fixing the Flaws, Fitting the Look 🛠️📐

We were brought in to clean up a decorative desk support in a high-end home office, where visible seams and surface flaws had started to show. Our solution: custom applied moldings that not only covered the defects, but added visual depth to what had been a flat panel.

We templated the existing shape on-site, digitized it, and machined a matching profile in HDM—tying in with the shaker-style cabinetry throughout the rest of the office. After test fits and final sanding, a local finisher matched the color for a clean, cohesive result.

Client was thrilled—and the final look feels like it belonged all along.

Commercial Casework, Built Right 🧱🚗

We recently wrapped up custom casework for the break room of a new service center for a local dealership. Built to the project specs—with upgraded quality and construction wherever ArkWorks standards could elevate the outcome.

Boxes were made from premium lam-ply, with MR50 as the substrate for doors and panels. Every surface—tops, bottoms, wall ends, and returns—was skinned with Wilsonart Traceless PLAM for a sleek, durable finish.

We recessed the KV brackets for a cleaner look and included an ADA-compliant sink base to meet accessibility standards and bring extra function to the space.

Precision-built, cleanly installed, and made to last.

Going Up… In Style 🛗✨

We created these custom elevator panel rings for a renovation project in Marco Island, designed to match the original carved profile while accommodating a modern control upgrade. The new panels were larger—but the goal was a seamless visual fit.

We worked closely with the installer to take precise measurements, matched the original design, and developed a mounting solution with concealed fasteners. We also built a custom template for accurate button placement to make install smooth and mistake-free.

Dialed-In Details for a Clean Finish 🪚📐

We partnered with a nearby cabinet shop on this custom lattice door project—working through multiple design iterations to dial in the lattice spacing, width, stile and rail sizing, and hinge clearance.

We handled the CNC work and design refinement, they handled finishing and install. Both our client and their client were happy with the outcome—exactly how we like it.

Ms. Pac-Man Gets a Comeback 👾🛠️

A client reached out to rebuild parts of an original 1980s Ms. Pac-Man arcade cabinet that took water damage in the storms. I carefully took measurements on-site and recreated three critical panels from MR50-grade MDF.

They’re sealed and ready for paint and reassembly by the owner—can’t wait to see this classic back in action.

From Fuzzy Photo to a Fluted Match 🔍🪚

A fellow cabinetry shop needed five doors matched to an existing profile—but the only reference was a cloudy photo. The doors had fluted center panels with a sharp-corner chamfer shaker frame.

We reverse-engineered a two-piece solution to replicate the look, cut and assembled them in-house, and both the shop and their client were happy with the outcome.

Supporting other shops with precision parts and creative solutions is one of our favorite things to do.
