Happy New Year to all of our friends from The Curiosity Shop . New Years has always been a time for reflection and a time to rejoice in the possibilities of a new year . James has always been the face that you see and most generally the person you would meet when stopping into our shop , I (Darien ) due too my career schedule have been mostly behind the scenes and the person you would speak to through any correspondence on the internet. This however has never lessened the feeling I have had for all of you and the love that James and I have shared in creating a place for friends and future friends to meet up , shop , reignite old memories and too simply share a mutual love of all things vintage. This makes it all the harder to announce that The Curiosity Shop will be closing in the very near future due to ongoing health related concerns. James and I have devoted the last several years to the success of this shop and this has not been something that we have chosen to likely do unfortunately it is a must at this time . The exact date of the stores closure is not yet set because there are many things to do but it will unfortunately be very soon . James and I would like to thank you all for the opportunities we have had to get to meet you and sometimes your families and please know that you all hold a special place in our heart and we thank you for that .
