Holiday Open House today and every year I am inspired by the ballet, by the magic of The Nutcracker. And every year, since my first daughter was little, we carry a tradition of having The Nutcracker play in the background on Christmas morning.
That is just one of a handful of our traditions. I would love to know a few of your holiday traditions.

A velvet beauty with a hue of the sea. A velvet beauty that held my children, that shows signs much love from their little hands grasping the arms as they lifted themselves up. A velvet beauty that my sweet daughter referred to as the princess chair. A velvet beauty that brought much love and joy to our family.
I knew it was time to pass this velvet beauty on to bring joy to someone else. She found her way into the Arkie home at and was bought by a lovely woman who adored the velvet as much as I do.
I am always on the hunt for velvet chairs who hold beautiful stories and signs of love and happiness.
