Especially when it’s over 100 years old.

When I spotted these petticoats hanging in a dark corner of a closet, I literally gasped. They’re thick, crisp, beautifully made, and somehow survived more than a century just waiting to be discovered again.

I love giving pieces like these a second life—and imagining all the stories they could tell. ✨

✨ A little life update from 43 Garden Vintage Finds ✨

Life has been a little hectic around here lately… okay, maybe more than a little. 😂

My daughter is getting married in December 💍, I’ve been prepping for a history presentation 📚, doing a BIG inventory/storage shift, and generally trying to keep all the plates spinning. It’s been a lot!

But I promise… I have NOT forgotten about 43 Garden Vintage Finds! ❤️

In fact, I’ve got an EPIC reboot in the works. 👀 And because I apparently can’t do anything halfway, it’s going to take a little planning to get everything just right.

In the meantime, if you’re looking for something to do on this gloomy, rainy Sunday, get yourself out to The Rink Vintage and Antiques! ☔️🛍️ It’s the perfect kind of day to wander around, browse, hunt for treasures, and see what you can find.

One of my favorite things at auctions used to be snagging those $1 flats. 😍 Remember them? They were always packed with tiny treasures, and I'd happily spend hours digging through every little piece to see what I could find.

Well... I've decided to recreate that feeling!

I've been going through drawers and sorting out all those fun little odds and ends to make my very first Junk Drawer Jars. Each one is filled with an eclectic mix of vintage trinkets, curiosities, and surprise finds—perfect for crafters, collectors, treasure hunters, or anyone who just loves the thrill of the hunt.

These first two jars will be arriving at The Rink on Tuesday! If you enjoy them, I'll definitely be making more.

Who else misses those $1 auction flats? 🙋‍♀️

For now, you only get a little peek at the labels and those dreamy collars. They're currently enjoying a gentle OxiClean soak to freshen up after decades of storage, and I can't wait to reveal them once they're clean and pressed.
