It was a slow transition from winter to spring in Indiana, which was exciting, because knitted gardens and crotched brambles yield the most beautiful berries in the coldest of seasons. I kept watchful eyes on our bridal berry brambles and thankfully the yarn-foxes didn't steal too many right out from under me! The crystal-thorns on the vines of these berries remind all who wear them that we continue to grow during even the snowiest of times.
