I am not sure how solid this advice is but it has saved me and allowed us to get out of the house so much more with the 3rd baby addition.

I care wayyyyy less about germs and I it hard to get in tummy time with so many obligations for the other kiddos. The baby is in the car seat at least an hour a day due to school drop off so if I add in grocery shopping or any other errands, that time adds up!

A tip to keep multiple kids safe out in public.

My boys love this handle that attaches to the baby stroller. It is their handle to hold when they get out of the car. I use this consistently every day in every outing.

Just like anything else, if you are consistent with boundaries, they will recognize the expectation and do it automatically. My boys rarely need direction to grab the handle after about a month of use.

I got it on clearance at walmart for 6$ and it honestly is a game changer for my anxieties taking 3 boys out in public.

Sizing a cloth pocket diaper requires trial!

If you have a child who os larger or smaller than the average percentage for their age, you can’t rely on standard rise settings.

My third baby is in the 98% for his weight and height so his settings are different for his size. On a disposable he is in a size 4.

My biggest problem is his thigh gap leaking. I have to make sure he has a snug fit around the legs to prevent leakage.

Try out this and keep adjusting for your baby!

Also look at previous posts to fix a few other leak spots and how to fix them!

Chore charts for independence!

I found these on amazon for about 4$ and they are great for managing my boys.

I was getting tired of repeating daily tasks they needed to do in the morning and night so I let the chart guide them.

It is not very fancy, I had to edit them for our needs but it works great!!! I talk less and they guide themselves through their tasks!

Currently my 4 year old and 5 year old do this!

BABY JAIL 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

This is the best thing we do with our babies around 6 months-12 months.

Babies are sitting up, falling over, crawling, starting to stand, putting things in their mouths, standing, falling, climbing, etc.

We use baby jail to protect them. Only certain toys are allowed inside and the older kids cannot place blankets or stuffed animals in there.

It is cushioned on the bottom, so if the baby falls over either from sitting up or trying to climb up or trying to stand, then his little head is protected.

This is our best way to manage the chaos of multiple children and to keep the little ones safe. We love it!!!

Baby had a blowout in the infant car seat?

Super easy to fix. Instead of scrubbing the material, flip the carrier over, undo the buckle hooks, and take the cover off. I also had a lining that came off too.

I ran it through the washer and dryer cycle on normal settings, and I chose warm as the wash cycle.

It didn’t shrink and looks like new 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

Practicing the necessary skills for handwriting can be fun 🤩

This tip is for toddlers. It can be overwhelming when you start to learn milestones for hand gripping and pencil grasp. Children are expected to be able to hold scissors correctly and pencils correctly before age 5 (whether that is developmentally appropriate 🫠🫠🫠🫠 or not)

There are lots of other activities to try before ever introducing a pencil or crayon 🖍️
