The most common question I get asked is “Why 🧠Mental Health Awareness?”

The answer is simple… because I needed mental health awareness.

I was diagnosed with anxiety in my 20’s🥺. I had a my first panic attack during a work day. I hyperventilated, shaking,😭 crying, and felt like I was going to die because I couldn’t breathe. I remember my supervisor laying me down on the floor and the then everything went black. When I later came to she said I needed to see a 🧑‍⚕️doctor. Nothing else.

I went to the doctor and was placed on my first anti-depressant. No one talked to me about what the medication was or why I was put on it. Then the side effects came and I stopped taking it.

There was never another conversation had until I started having problems again in my late 20’s.

I want to open the conversation and help others not go through what I went through. I want to be an advocate for those who feel they don’t have a voice. I want to have a community of love, light, and support. Mental Health is dirty, it’s mean, and sometimes unforgiving. But no one has to go at it alone.
