Today was a day of mixed emotions for Linen & Blue. 💙 For a good while, I have been asking the Lord for wisdom and direction regarding Linen & Blue, and He has worked out every little detail, doing for me what I could never have done for myself! I’ve struggled to be patient and to trust Him...but He has completely knocked my socks off with His provision!
Today, we had the honor and privilege of selling our collections to THE one and only Cheyene Lane of Jessie’s Girl Boutique & Salon in Greenville, Texas!
Just a year ago, we started up this fun little “side hustle” with plans to offer designer quality, trending styles for women at great prices. In a matter of months, that side hustle unexpectedly morphed into a full time job! I did not see that coming and while I am honored, I’m taken aback, and I have felt so supported and loved...our family insurance business and my little family are my priority, and they have had to increasingly take a back seat to the growing demands of running Linen & Blue.
Cheyene Lane is a dreamer and a doer! She’s a go-getter! Best of all, though, she loves Jesus and is absolutely smack dab in the middle of doing what God has called her to do! Jessie’s Girl Boutique & Salon is a thriving and bustling business, and I was so proud to get to be a small part of it, today. The Lord knew I would struggle to let go of something I have worked so hard on...poured my whole self into...for the last year. He brought me Cheyene. This girl Kevin and I met almost 20 years ago on a mission trip to Mexico is the exact one my heart needed to take over my little collections. JGBS isn’t just another downtown shop. It is sincerely the Church on mission in its community. Cheyene loves well and so does her team. When shoppers call JGBS “anointed” and her team refer to JGBS as “a ministry”...I mean...there is no one else I could have partnered so confidently with!
I have so many things I still want to do, and so many things I want to try! I look forward to what’s next for Linen & Blue...some day. Mostly, I’m grateful to get back to my calling and first priority...my sweet little family! Thank you all for your support and love! @ Fort Worth, Texas
