Sell Your Cloak

Sell Your Cloak Prepared in spirit. Ready in strength. Prepared in Spirit. Ready in Strength. Sell Your Cloak is not a call to violence. It’s a call to readiness.

What does it mean to be a man of God in an increasingly dangerous world? Can you bear a cross with one hand—and be ready to defend your home with the other? A challenge to Christian men to lay down passivity, reject cultural confusion
about masculinity, and take up the biblical mantle of protector, provider, and spiritual leader. Rooted in Luke 22:36 and forged in the balance between faith and res

ponsibility, this book explores:

- Why the gospel calls us to both meekness and courage
- How to cultivate spiritual discipline alongside practical preparedness
- The weapons every man should own—and how to train with them wisely
- How to be a peace-seeker without becoming a pushover
- The danger of delighting in violence—and the failure of fearing it
- Why salvation is your first and only foundation for any kind of real preparedness
- Written by a man who applies the concepts of the book to his own life, this is not a book of theory—it’s a real- world charge.
- A call to rise—not as a brute, not as a keyboard warrior—but as a servant-hearted, battle-ready follower of Christ. If you’re looking for a tool to enrich the road to biblical masculinity that doesn’t shy away from reality—or the cross—this is just such a book.

HAPPY LABOR DAY. 🇺🇸

There’s something deeply American about rolling up your sleeves, putting your hands to the work, and earning your bread by the sweat of your brow.

But for the Christian, work is more than a paycheck.

It’s worship.

The jobsite. The office. The shop. The ranch. The classroom. The kitchen. The truck. The warehouse. Wherever God has placed you, the work you do matters—not simply because it provides for your family, but because how you do it is an offering to Him.

We don’t all have the same calling. We don’t all build the same things. We don’t all punch the same clock.

But we can all work with the same purpose.

Do it heartily. Do it faithfully. Do it unto the Lord.

Why?

Because our labor is not in vain.

That’s the encouragement of 1 Corinthians 15:58. Stand fast. Be unmovable. Keep working. Keep serving. Keep building. Keep doing what God has put in front of you.

And when the work is hard?

Keep going.

When nobody notices?

Keep going.

When the paycheck doesn’t seem to match the effort?

Keep going.

When you’re tired and wondering if what you’re doing actually matters?

Keep going.

Because the Christian doesn’t measure the worth of his work solely by what it produces today. We measure it by Who we are doing it for.

So this Labor Day, thank God for the privilege of work.

Thank Him for strong backs, capable hands, willing hearts, and the opportunity to provide for those entrusted to us.

And then tomorrow, when the holiday is over and the alarm goes off again—

Get up. Go to work. And worship God with it.

Our labor is not in vain.

Happy Labor Day. 🇺🇸

🇺🇸 FEATURE FRIDAY: LET FREEDOM RING 🇺🇸

Labor Day weekend is more than the unofficial end of summer.

It’s a time to remember the privilege we have to live in a nation where life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness are not merely words on paper—but ideals worth working for, protecting, and passing on.

Because there’s something deeply American about the pursuit.

It takes work.

It takes sweat.

It takes early mornings, long days, calloused hands, missed sleep, and the willingness to do what needs to be done even when nobody is standing around to applaud you for it.

Americans have that in our heritage.

We have it in our blood.

We were built by people who understood that freedom doesn’t mean somebody owes you an easy life. It means you have the freedom to pursue one—to build, to work, to provide, to create, to raise a family, to worship, and to chase the opportunities God has placed before you.

We’re not afraid to earn a living by the sweat of our brow.

And while we work…

Let freedom ring.

That’s what the Let Freedom Ring Tee represents.

Featuring the signature Sell Your Cloak sword logo filled with the bold stripes and stars of the American flag, this isn’t just another patriotic shirt. It’s a declaration.

A declaration that freedom is worth remembering.

A declaration that responsibility matters.

A declaration that readiness isn’t something we apologize for.

Inspired by Luke 22:36, the Let Freedom Ring Tee was made for those who carry both the Word and the weight of responsibility.

Range Ready.
Spirit Ready.
2A Committed.
Kingdom Focused.

Wear it to the range.

Wear it around the campfire.

Wear it to church.

Wear it wherever you find yourself standing on the frontlines of culture.

Because freedom is a gift.

But responsibility is what we do with it.

This Labor Day weekend, take a moment to be thankful for the freedom we’ve been given—and then get back to work.

Build something.

Provide something.

Protect something.

Teach the next generation.

Stand firm.

And whatever honest work God has put before you…

Do it with conviction.

Kings lead. Priests intercede. You're called to be both.

Sell Your Cloak: Kings & Priests is the sequel to Sell Your Cloak — a dive into Revelation 1:6 that unpacks what it means to carry the weight of the priesthood, not just the sword of the warrior. This isn't about choosing between strength and surrender. It's about a man who fights for his family and kneels for them too — who leads from the front and carries them before God in prayer.

You are more than a worshiper — you are a priest called to bear the weight.

If you read the first Sell Your Cloak and felt the call to go further, this is the next step. Get your copy today.

You train your body. You train your skills. But when was the last time you trained your soul like it mattered just as much?

Sell Your Cloak makes the case that real preparedness starts before you ever pick up a weapon — it starts on your knees. Prayer, Scripture, and spiritual discipline aren't the "soft" part of being a man of God; they're the foundation everything else stands on. Skip that step and you're just a strong man with no anchor.

This book walks Christian men through what it looks like to build both — a disciplined spirit and a prepared household — rooted in Luke 22:36. Faith first. Readiness second. Neither one optional.

Ready to build the whole man, not half of one?

🔥 FEATURE FRIDAY HIGHLIGHT 🔥

If you’ve spent any time outside in Texas lately, you already know the situation.

It’s hot.

Not regular hot.

We’re talking “take three steps outside and immediately reconsider every life decision you’ve ever made” hot.

And when it’s that hot, a little cup of water just isn’t going to get the job done.

This week we’re highlighting the SYC Texas Born Brand 40oz Tumbler—built for the men who carry conviction in their hands… and need enough liquid to quench a manly-sized thirst.

Because 40 ounces isn’t a drink.

It’s a commitment.

Whether you’re gearing up for a long day on watch, heading to work before sunrise, spending the day at the range, traveling down the road, or settling in for some late-night study in the Word, this tumbler is built to go with you.

Classic black.

Bold SYC Flag Logo laser-etched into the steel.

A sturdy side handle.

A clear spill-resistant lid and straw.

And enough capacity to keep a man hydrated without making seventeen trips back to the refrigerator.

Fill it with ice water.

Sweet tea.

Coffee.

Or whatever keeps you going when the Texas sun is trying to turn your driveway into a cast-iron skillet.

This rugged 40oz tumbler keeps your hot drinks hot and your cold drinks cold, making it ready for everything from road trips to range days to Sunday morning service.

Made for durability.

Built for daily use.

Styled for the man who takes preparedness personally.

You don’t leave the house without what you need.

And in the middle of a Texas summer…

You need more than 12 ounces.

Grab your SYC Texas Born Brand Tumbler and make sure your thirst is prepared for whatever the day brings.

Jesus told His disciples to sell their cloaks and buy a sword. Do you know why — and do you own one you know how to use?

"Sell Your Cloak" is a book about readiness — the kind that lets a man carry both a cross and a means of protecting his household, without confusing the two. The Appendix of the book walks Christian men through the weapons worth owning, the training that makes them useful in the hands of the dangerous men we were called to be, and the discipline that keeps a protector ready for any threat.

If you've ever wondered what real preparedness looks like for a man who follows Christ, this is your starting point.

Get your copy today and start building the readiness your family deserves.

Stop settling for safe.

You weren't made to hide behind spiritual walls — you were made to lead the fight. "Sell Your Cloak: Kings & Priests," the sequel to "Sell Your Cloak," calls Christian men to rise as warrior-kings: men who protect their families, stand for their churches, and refuse the comfortable passivity that breeds compromise. Rooted in Revelation 1:6, this book unpacks what it means to carry royal authority into every battle you face — at home, at work, in prayer.

You are more than a soldier — you are a king called to lead the fight.

If you've read the first "Sell Your Cloak," this is your next step to the frontlines of both the physical and the spiritual battle. Because we are not only kings who answer to the High King, we are priests in the service of the High Priest.

Get your copy today and start leading like the king and interceding like the priest you were called to be.
