I am so thankful to the people that invite us to be a part of these very special moments. It has been incredibly rewarding to use our gifts in such a meaningful way.

I have a ton of video footage of this project and I will post more of that in the coming days. For this one we deconstructed mom’s wedding gown and a pair of satin pajamas and made them into a whole new “getting ready” outfit.

This is pretty neat in my opinion. I give a lot of warnings to brides about heavy veils because I’ve seen them fall out at weddings.

I’ve seen some requests for this in here and I know it’s a growing trend right now. We can move the lace from the original hem to the new hem. For this one we decided to keep the lace on the train. It will be used for a bridal robe that we are making.

If you’re looking for something like this, it’s good to get a head start. We don’t always have time for projects like this in the middle of bridal & prom season.

Also, because I like people to be aware of the cost of things, this specific project was $286. If we have to remove and re-apply lace to the hem you’re looking at closer to $400.
