A unique thrift and resale store in Historic Downtown
Frankfort. Our Mission is to provide unwanted and homeless animals a new lease on life with financial support for our shelter, the Franklin County Humane Society, through the sale of donated merchandise. Volunteers are needed as the stores' success will rely on the dedication and compassion of its volunteers. The store is staffed completely by

volunteers, and is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. Volunteers needed to perform tasks such as cleaning, sorting, organizing, managing the retail floor, stage and display, facebook and Craigslist posts, caring for on-site adoption pets, and much more. Your DONATIONS ARE NEEDED NOW and we will accept the
following:

• Antiques – Collectibles
• Home Furnishings and household items
• Bedding/Linens – Blankets – Bedspreads – Quilts - Towels
• Furniture/Rugs – All upholstered furniture and rugs must be free of
obvious stains, holes, tears, threadbare areas, and/or odors. All other furniture must be in working order, no missing or
broken parts, or significant damage. In good condition.
• Jewelry (costume or fine including broken pieces, broken watches
and single earrings)
• Clothing – “VINTAGE ONLY” including wedding dresses, tuxedos,
wigs, costumes, hats
• Accessories - (purses, scarves, belts, hats, men's ties)
• Books - CD's – DVD’s
• Games & Puzzles
• Clocks – Lamps & Shades
• Phones – Radios – Records
• Silverware – Dishes (no chips unless vintage or antique)

Items we cannot accept:
Large Appliances – Automotive Products – Televisions – Baby & Child
Car Seats, Baby Walkers or Swings, Diaper Pails or Containers,
Potty Chairs – Carpeting – Computers (Equipment & Printers) – Gym/Exercise Equipment – Hide-a-beds – Magazines & Encyclopedias – Mattresses & Box Springs –
Sofa/Hide-a-beds – Waterbeds – hazardous items such as paint and chemicals. Delivering your items to us increases your donation’s value, by
saving us gas and time. Call NOW to schedule a drop off
time that’s convenient for you. If you have large items or furniture and no means to drop them off, "We Fetch!" and can make arrangements to pick them up. A suggested retail price would be helpful for any unique items you donate. . Due to space limitations, we have to be very selective, so
please don’t take it personal if your items are refused. Why Donate?

~~It's Tax Deductible: The Franklin County Humane Society is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization and contributions are tax deductible (receipts available upon request).
~~~It supports the homeless animals in the community under the Franklin County Humane Society's care. The money earned from the resale of your unneeded items goes directly to help pay for food, shelter, medical and adoption expenses as we work to provide forever-homes to homeless companion animals. Your donation also supports community recycling efforts and contributes directly to the local economy. We rely 100% on donations from the community. We recycle what we can not sell. Good, quality donations are essential to our effort.
